The Unibond Group of Companies started the year with a holy mass held at theImmaculate Conception Cathedral on the morning of January 2, 2021. While observing the general health protocols, the Unibond Group of Companies got together in prayer to express their gratefulness and intents for the new year. The eucharistic celebration was followed by a breakfast for all the companies’ corporate employees. Afterwards, a short program was conducted and was headed by the group’s chairman of the board, Hon. Nicanor Briones. The said activity is observed annually. 2021 is another year for the Unibond Group of Companies to continue its societal contributions through its job opportunities for the Filipino people as well as its security and general manpower services for all kinds of industries in the country.

On March 9, 2020, Unified Security Training Academy, Inc. spearheaded the “Ugnayan Program” – an interactive dialogue regarding the Republic Act 5487 or the Act to Regulate the Organization and Operation of Private Detective, Watchmen, or Security Guard Agencies. Key speaker to the dialogue was Chief of PNP-SOSIA, PBGen. Michael John F. Dubria who personally visited the Unibond Trading Building to engage with the presidents and key officers of the seven security agencies under the Unibond Group of Companies. Also present in the Ugnayan Program is Chief, EMD Lt. Col. Antonio C. Bilon, Jr. as one of the speakers in the said activity. The Ugnayan Program was conducted as another form of adherence to the rules and regulations and direct coordination of the Unibond Group of Companies to the Supervisory Office for the Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA) under the PNP Civil Security Group. The activity assured that the Unibond Group of Companies are at par with the orders and guidelines for security agencies, set and required by PNP-SOSIA.
